There are rooms at ground level which, when you see how many people and the amount of coffee shops etc are on this floor, would be very noisy. I would recommend you ask for a higher floor. When it came to Friday and Saturday we saw that the queue was extremely long, even though there are easily a dozen or more check-in desks. Check-in was quick and simple (5 mins wait) – although we arrived on a Wednesday. Yes the décor could do with a spruce up, but it was perfectly acceptable. The bathroom was also large, with a huge walk in shower. The room was a good size, we had a twin room with two double beds, and was clean and tidy. It is one of the older hotels on the strip, but we found it to be perfectly adequate for our three nights. The Luxor is a nice hotel, if you get a good price – be aware of the $30 extra tax they charge per night.
